The Collapse of Corporate Computing

The Collapse of Corporate Computing

You’ve read it right.  In the famous words uttered by Morgan Freeman in, “The Shawshank Redemption”, you better, “Get busy living, or get busy dying”.  Don’t believe me?!? Go read the latest article on the demise of BlackBerry!

Still not ready to face the truth?  Study up on the auto industry collapse…or the steel industry…there’s more to offer you, but if you’re still in doubt, I’m not sure even an activator like me can save you…but I’ll give it a go!

I’m not sure what comes after Generation Z, but I do find a poetic beauty in the incoming enterprise generation being labeled with the last letter of the alphabet.

Because I guarantee you they’re going to turn the page on Corporate Computing…whether by choice, or force…they will not settle for the software their mom’s and dad’s used.

Seriously!  These guys and gals have been “connected” an average of 2-3 hours a day for most of their life…asking them to disconnect would be like handing them a modem and a phone line to get their email…hell even email is old school to them guys, wake up!

Corporate Computing is no longer limited by 20th century computing power, where we could only automate the most vital processes.

Today we can make enterprise computing…brace yourself…fun!  Oh I know…that’s just plain silly isn’t it…work isn’t fun, it’s work!

Well what if enterprise computing could be fun?  What if it could be engaging?

Would you give it a chance?

Think hard, but answer fast, Generation Z’s aren’t going to wait for your letter to come up again!
